Rejoice all of Google Map fans. Finally we have an attempt to have Google Maps on our handheld. PSP-Maps is the brainchild of homebrew developer Royale.

As you can tell from the version number, this is the first public release of the software. According to Royale, his homebrew retrieves the images directly instead of using the Google Maps API. Is this a bad thing? I am not really sure, if someone can explain why it would be better to use API, please enlighten us…
