NervOS v1.0
Hail hooo!!! There is a new PSP shell on the streets of homebrew scene. It is the brainchild of Pirata Nervo, who has recently released the first public version. Although it does not have a rich feature set as IR Shell, NervOS is definitely a positive step in the PSP shell world. We would love to see NervOS being actively developed and become as feature rich as possible.
As of now, version 1.0 has the following features:
- Image Viewer
- Mp3 Player
- Can execute homebrew
- Can execute ISO’s/CSO’s
- Can execute UMD’s
- Can load prx plugins (it is not finished so weird things may happen)
- USB Mode
- Shows the current time
- Shows the battery life percentage
- Take screenshots (press Select)
To install the NervOS (directly from Pirata Nervo); “copy the contents of the folder ms0 to your ms root, you won’t need the eboot loader for it as it does not use kernel mode directly, it uses kernel mode modules so it can be run on slims and fats.”
The file also comes with a readme, which explains the changes in eachversion all the way to 1.0.
