PSP-Maps v0.4 Review (8/10)

Are you a student studying for a geography exam, and you don’t know where you put that old atlas, but you have your trusty PSP by your side and a wifi hotspot is available, then PSP-Maps 0.4 is your new best friend.

PSP-Maps v0.4 is the newest version of Royale’s homebrew google map viewer, this release is an excellent example of what a psp can do with a wifi hotspot. This release has some nifty little features including the most important part of this update, a CACHE, now you do not need a wifi hotspot to view the maps, it also adds some speed increases for the loading of the maps.

NervOS v1.4

PSP dev library LibGE v0.1

Sony PSPHomebrew developer dridri85 has released his Graphics Engine Library LibGE v0.1. LibGE should give a head start for those of you who are into the C programming language, and wants to code your own graphics (or adding images) to your PSP homebrews in an easier manner.

The library has convenient functions for drawing lines and adding images to an application (complete with transparency options). Using it is as simple as appending a few lines to the start of the program during initialization.

Wallpaper Changer v1.20

Homebrew developer Hellcat has released an update to his PSP custom firmware plugin, named as Wallpaper Changer. This plugin allows users to set predefined wallpaper images at a specific date, and change/randomize various firmware resources without writing to flash memory.
